This week was a lesson in patience. I learned that it is really hard to apply 50% to most aspects of my life. It's even hard to apply to concrete things like the meals and food I am eating. The way I think it should work is instead of totally cheating on my healthy living with pizza and eating 4 pieces, I can only eat 2 and still have cheated. Turns out it span is much greater than that. Now I also need to apply that to what foods I am eating. I need to learn balance without putting complete trash in my body. I know this will be a steep learning curve because I am trying to completely relearn a very old habit. I don't like feeling out of control and changing my habits every 2 weeks. This is hard and it sucks but I would like to look back and say I put forth actual effort. I realize not every week I'm going to lose weight or be super happy with myself but it's a growing journey and I need to understand that.
